Patricia Shiraz 2017
The fruit was sourced from three premium Victorian vineyard sites in a vintage of coll climatic conditions. The carefully selected parcels were chosen to create a full bodied yet elegant Shiraz with lush fruits and pepper spice. Matured in 100% French oak and blended for the perfect balance of richness and complexity giving this wine beautiful length and celalring potential. Patricia would have loved it.

Recommended food pairings: This wine would make an ideal partner to crispy skinned duck breast served with kipfler potatoes, broccolini and a black pepper red wine jus. Or why not try it with a spicy Mongolian beef. The Patricia Shiraz is also fantastic with wash rind cheeses.
Growing Conditions: The fruit was harvested in parcels from early to late April at baumés between 13 and 14.5.
Winemaking notes: A portion of the wine finished fermenting in barrels, then all parcels spent 18 months in 30% new French oak with the balance in older oak barriques and puncheons before bottling. The wine was bottled with an alcohol of 14%. Vegan-friendly.
