Made in our micro-winery named the Kindergarten, this single vineyard Fiano from the King Valley is full of aromatic citrus notes and is made to ne enjoyed young and vibrant.

Recommended food pairings: Try it with lightly battered whiting fillets served with kipfler potatoes and fresh lemon juice. Or why not have it with a Sashimi platter and pickled ginger. If you like cheese, try a triple brie and green apple
Growing Conditions: The grapes were grown in the upper reaches of the King Valley.
Winemaker: Tom Wallace
Winemaking notes: The grapes were destemmed and split to release the juice then gently pressed to tank. The fermentation was cool at around 12 degrees to retain as much of the delicate aromas as possible. It was bottled with an alcohol of 14.5%, a pH of 3.24 and a TA of 6.2g/l.

“Fiano is going places fast. This highlights all the things that are so appealing about the Italian white grape; its joyful, approachable fruit, spice and mouthfeel, all the while keeping things tidy and firm. Works the dried herbs introduction really well with an overlay of preserved lemon and grapefruit. Launches onto the palate with gusto: multifaceted apple, lemon, hay. But the key here is the crunchy, persistent acidity. Let’s see how it ages.”
