Taste individual Pinot Noir clones from our Tamar Valley vineyards and explore the distinctive qualities each parcel contributes to a finished wine. Guided by our cellar door team, create a blend inspired by the Tamar Ridge Reserve Pinot Noir, or follow your palate and craft a unique expression of your own. $110 per person

Tasting
Experience the Tamar Valley from an entirely new perspective with an exclusive helicopter journey through the home of Tamar Ridge and PIRIE Tasmania.
Departing from Launceston, take to the skies for a spectacular flight over our Kayena vineyard, seeing firsthand the cool-climate landscape and vineyard blocks behind our award-winning wines. From above, trace the journey of the wine, from vineyard to winery before landing directly at the Tamar Ridge & PIRIE Cellar Door.
Over the next 90 minutes, enjoy a private tasting of wines grown from the vineyards you have just flown over, before stepping into the role of winemaker for a hands-on Pinot Noir blending experience. Taste individual parcels from the blocks below and create your own blend while discovering how site, clone and winemaking shape the finished wine.
Then, return to your helicopter for the scenic flight back to Launceston, a truly memorable journey from vineyard to glass, and from the air to the cellar door.
