Inspired by the beauty of our craft. Fuelled by our passion for Pinot Noir.

Cellar Door Winter Hours: Wednesday to Sunday, 11am – 4pm.

Estate Range

Pinot Noir

2017

Each year we challenge ourselves to create a wine that’s elegant yet unpretentious – superbly put together with soft, silky tannins and wicked cellaring potential. The result? Our Estate Pinot Noir. Rich and complex, with ripe dark cherry on the lips.

The Art –

Dark berry and spice aromas balanced with a succulent ripe palate. Fine tannins and good acidity leave a long, lingering finish.

The Science –

Select blocks on the vineyard and nine months in French oak. Partial whole bunch for aromatic complexity.

Reserve

Pinot Noir

2018

Made only in exceptional vintages, the 2018 Reserve Pinot Noir is a nod to the marriage between art and science. Celebrated for its mouth-filling flavours of rich berries and time-honoured craftsmanship. So good you can almost taste it – and we suggest you do. Gold Medal winner at the 2019 National Cool Climate Wine Show & Royal Perth Wine Awards.

The Art –

Vibrantly lifted aromas of dark cherry and white spice. A long and elegant palate of rich fruit with a savoury character and fine, silky tannins.

The Science –

10% whole bunch carbonic fermentation for added complexity, vibrancy and lift. Select complementing Pinot Noir clones.

Research Series

Pinot Noir

2017

The one time we said no rules, and this is the result: unfined and unfiltered, the kind of Pinot that balances experimental fermentation with bold, juicy fruit and fine tannins. The first release of our most experimental style of Pinot Noir.

The Art –

Lifted red liquorice and sour cherry aromas balanced with a fine herbaceous palate and a long finish.

The Science –

A combination of 50% experimental vineyard and 50% carbonic fermentation for added lift and complexity.

Single Block

Pinot Noir

2017

Made from a single clone (D4V2), on a single block (28). Perfectly balanced, the 2017 Single Block Pinot Noir is our boldest and most structured wine. Our holy grail of Pinot Noir, stealing the show with flavours of savoury dark cherry, raspberry and plum. Enjoy now or save for the next decade.

The Art –

Rich plum and berry fruits balanced with spicy, cedar notes. Intensity of flavour from old vines which gives it a long, savoury finish.

The Science –

Single clone D4V2. Unfined and unfiltered. Wild fermentation and 12 months in French oak with minimal intervention.
